COMMISSION OF A FOUR-UNIT BEDROOM FOR STAFFS

Today, we commissioned a four-unit two-bedroom staff accommodation block for males teachers, four-unit two-bedroom staff accommodation block for females teachers and an administration block with a library and computer laboratory for Tanyigbe SHS.

The project was originally initiated in 2016 under the leadership of our President HE. John Dramani Mahama but unfortunately stalled along the way. Upon assuming office, we took steps to revive the project and, in 2025, re-awarded the contract to a new contractor to ensure its successful completion.

We are pleased that this important educational infrastructure has now been completed and commissioned to support teaching and learning at the school.

HANDING OVER ITEMS TO NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM(NAP)

We have handed over a bunch of items to our National Apprenticeship Program (NAP) beneficiaries! On behalf of the president HE John Dramani Mahama and alongside our MP Hon. Edem Kpotosu we’re stamping our support for your skills development.

These items are to be used by the trainees under the various beneficiary trainers of the program.

Items include:

Industrial sewing machines

Industrial knitting machines

Butterfly sewing machines

Scissors

Clinch motors

Thread

Hair Dryers

Dryer stand

Face shield

Rollers

Bags

INSPECTION OF 2025 DACF PROJECTS

I was accompanied by our MP Hon. Edem Kpotosu yesterday to inspect 2025 DACF projects which we started early this year with sod cutting at Kpenoe.

The team is moving at lightning speed. Kudos to the contractors and stakeholders for their hardwork!

The projects are:

1. CHPS compound at Ziavi Bamefedo

2. CHPS compound at Takla Atiyinu

3. 2 units nurses quaters at Matse

4. 2 units nurses quarters at Tokokoe

5. 6 units classroom block at Kpenoe

6. 6 units classroom block at Nyive

7. 3 units classroom block at Hodzo

SUPPORTING DISABILITIES IN HO MUNICIPALITY

Supporting Our People with Disabilities in The Ho Municipality Part 2.

It was a fulfilling day as we distributed resources to beneficiaries from the Municipal Assembly’s share of the Common Fund specifically allocated for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs).

The items donated, which included cash, fufu pounding machines, chest freezers, sewing machines, laptops, barbering equipment, and various provisions like rice, oil, and detergents, are aimed at a simple but profound goal: to help our beneficiaries build viable and sustainable businesses and alleviate the hardship that sometimes pushes them onto the streets.

I want to personally assure every PWD in Ho that I will ensure you always receive your due share of government allocations. Furthermore, my Task Force will be monitoring the usage of these items, ready to reward and further support those who are excelling.

I also take this opportunity to urge all families to treat their relatives with disabilities with the utmost humanity and respect. They deserve our support and encouragement.

THE MCE MEETING WITH THE STAFF OF THE HO MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY

In the early hours of Thursday the 24th of April, 2025, The MCE, Hon. Stephen Adom met with all staff of the various departments of the Ho Municipal Assembly.

The MCE in his expressions was excited to familiarize himself with everyone and outlined his plans for the Assembly, and the municipality at large. Stating he’s aware it may not be easy but with the experience he’s had as a former Assembly Member and his past work experience he can achieve it all.

He mentioned, his special focus is on agriculture and urged everyone to join him in making a change through agriculture and other important areas.
