RESHAPING AND OPENING OF ROADS

We wish to inform the general public that steady progress is being made on the ongoing road opening works within the municipality. We currently at Barracks Newtown to Kharistar School and CK road. This initiative forms part of our broader effort to improve accessibility, ease traffic flow, and support development within the municipality.

Work will be extended to other parts of the municipality in due course, as we remain committed to opening up more communities and enhancing road networks across Ho. We appreciate the cooperation of residents and urge all to support this important exercise for our collective benefit.

ASSESSING THE URBAN DEVELOPMENT GRANT PROJECT.

The World Bank, in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy a high-level monitoring team came to Ho to assess the Urban Development Grant (UDG) projects (UDG1 to 5)

The visit forms part of routine supervision to ensure that funded projects are being implemented efficiently, in line with approved standards, and delivering the intended impact on infrastructure and service delivery within the municipality. The team engaged with officials of the Ho Municipal Assembly, inspected key project sites, and reviewed compliance with project timelines, quality specifications, and financial accountability measures.

This monitoring exercise underscores the commitment of all stakeholders to promoting transparency, strengthening local governance, and ensuring that UDG interventions translate into tangible improvements in the lives of residents.

MAINTENANCE OF STREET LIGHT

The Ho Municipal Assembly wishes to inform residents that maintenance of streetlights within the municipality has commenced. This exercise is aimed at improving visibility, enhancing security, and ensuring safer movement for both motorists and pedestrians. We kindly urge the public to cooperate with the technical teams as they carry out this important work. Thank you for your continued support in making Ho a safer, brighter municipality.

THE MCE INTRODUCED THE CONTRATOR TO THE RESIDENTS OF TANYIGBE

Today, the MCE introduced the contractor (Bumecon Constructions), to the Chiefs, community leaders, and residents of Tanyigbe for the execution of a 7km internal road project. This marks an important step forward for the community, and indeed, exciting times lie ahead as we work together to improve road infrastructure in Tanyigbe

DELIVERY OF RTP EQUIPMENTS FROM GIFEC

The Ho Municipal Assembly has successfully taken delivery of RTP equipment from GIFEC to help address network connectivity challenges in our communities. This intervention will improve communication and digital access in Akoefe, Tokokoe, Hodzo, Avee, and Lume. We remain committed to enhancing connectivity and development across the municipality

CLEANUP EXECRISE AT KINGS FILLING STATION HO

This morning, I joined the Mawuleme Movement in partnership with the Ho Municipal Assembly to carry out a massive clean-up exercise along the stretch from Kings Filling Station to the Ho Polyclinic road near the main bridge. The exercise focused on clearing debris left behind by the recent rains.

I humbly urge everyone to join hands in keeping our environment clean. It is our collective responsibility to maintain a safe and healthy community.
