Ultra-Modern Barbering Saloon Commissioned at Ho Central Prisons
Ho, August 17, 2023.
The Ho Central Prisons in collaboration with the Apostolic Church of Ghana and the MTN Ghana Foundation on Thursday 17th August 2023 commissioned an ultra-modern barbering saloon.
The short commissioning ceremony was attended by representatives from various stakeholders including the Regional Security Council. Apostle Dr. Aaron Ami-Narh, the General Overseer of the Apostolic Church noted that, beyond skills acquisition for the inmates, he is hopeful that, proceeds from the saloon would contribute to enhancing the quality of meals provided to those in the cells.
In their respective addresses, both the Director General of the Ghana Prison Service, represented by DDP. Raphael Tuekpe, and the Municipal Chief Executive for Ho represented by Mr. Henry Amesimeku, expressed their gratitude to the Church for their kind gesture, emphasizing their hope that, the saloon would play a pivotal role in advancing the prison’s agenda for skill development and rehabilitation.
