SUPPORTING DISABILITIES IN HO MUNICIPALITY
Supporting Our People with Disabilities in The Ho Municipality Part 2.
It was a fulfilling day as we distributed resources to beneficiaries from the Municipal Assembly’s share of the Common Fund specifically allocated for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs).
The items donated, which included cash, fufu pounding machines, chest freezers, sewing machines, laptops, barbering equipment, and various provisions like rice, oil, and detergents, are aimed at a simple but profound goal: to help our beneficiaries build viable and sustainable businesses and alleviate the hardship that sometimes pushes them onto the streets.
I want to personally assure every PWD in Ho that I will ensure you always receive your due share of government allocations. Furthermore, my Task Force will be monitoring the usage of these items, ready to reward and further support those who are excelling.
I also take this opportunity to urge all families to treat their relatives with disabilities with the utmost humanity and respect. They deserve our support and encouragement.
