HMA JOINS THE WORLD TO HONOUR VETERANS AND FALLEN HEROES.
On Saturday 11th of November, 2023, the Volta Regional edition of the 78th anniversary of the end of the Second World War was held to remember and honor the Veterans and the fallen heroes who died in the line of duty during the 1st and Second World war subsequent conflicts around the world was held at the Ho Jubilee park.
The event was marked with a beautiful parade under the command of Flt. Lt. Adjoa Kwarteng and made of eight contingents drawn from the various security agencies in the region and the Veterans Administration of Ghana (VAG).

Wreaths were laid as follows;
on behalf of the President of the Republic of Ghana by on behalf of the Security Services within the Volta Region –Togbe Tepre Hodoh IV – President of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs, on behalf of the Chiefs and people of the Volta region and Ex- SWOI Kofi Amegbor also laid on behalf of the Veterans Administration of Ghana
1st wreath was laid by the Volta Regional Minister Hon. Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa on behalf of the President and the people of Ghana.
2nd wreath was laid by Commodore Bright Emmanuel Kojo Atiayao, Flag Officer Commanding the Naval Training Command on behalf of the Security Services within the Volta Region.
3rd wreath was laid by a representative of the Regional House of Chiefs Togbe Tepre Hodo IV on behalf of the chiefs and people of the Volta Region.
The final wreath was laid by the Regional Chairman of Veterans Administration Ghana EX WOI Kofi Amegbor on behalf of the Veterans Administration of Ghana.
Present at the ceremony include the Municipal Chief Executive for Ho, Hon. Divine R.K. Bosson, members of the Regional Security Council Traditional Authorities, and cadets drawn from various schools within the municipality.
